Explore Baseball's Rich History in iOOTP 1.1
Enjoying baseball on the go with iOOTP Baseball 2011? Our mobile debut has been a home run, and you can keep the baseball sims going all summer and into the fall with iOOTP 1.1, which features in-app purchases of seasons going back to 1901!
We've grouped the seasons into bundles according to various themes, and the first three are available now: Record Breakers, Going the Distance, and Cinderella Teams & Best of the Rest. Relive classic home run chases by Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, and Mark McGwire in Record Breakers. Recall seasons with seven-game World Series, including the Pirates' pair of classics that bookended the 1970s. And don't forget about the "Miracle Mets" in 1969 and the Reds' victory over the heavily-favored A's in 1990.
There are 30 seasons total in these three inaugural bundles, which are priced at $4.99 each. Individual seasons are just $0.99. Upcoming bundles include Great Collapses, Baseball Interrupted, and First World Series Wins.
Other new features in iOOTP 1.1 include:
- Game Center support with single season and all-time score leader boards
- A trading block where you can shop players and see what kinds of offers you get
- An initial draft for all game modes (so you can, for example, take all the 2011 players and draft your own team)
- The ability to set "untouchable" status for key players
To update your copy, connect your iOS device to your computer and download iOOTP 1.1 through iTunes, or update it directly on the device via a Wi-Fi connection.

Out of the Park Baseball 12: The Greatest Version Yet
Meanwhile, we continue our work to make Out of the Park Baseball 12 the greatest, most feature-rich, fastest and most stable version of our powerhouse baseball sim. OOTP 12 features complete 2011 rosters, all the seasons dating back to 1871, revamped financials, a handy new player development screen, an improved injury system, integrated online league setup, and much more.
As Mike Suszek at GamePro wrote in his review: "With dozens of options in creating leagues, your experience can be as hand-crafted as possible."
We released the latest update to OOTP 12 today, so if you already have your copy, make sure you upgrade it. OOTP 12.2.17 features:
- Added an option to correctly display potential ratings that are lower than the actual ratings, instead of adjusting them to match the actual ratings. This is useful only for leagues without scouting enabled.
- Tweaked budget & player contract demand calculation
- Added new baseball card templates
- Added search filter function to city list in nation editor
- Added a function to export the world data to XML
- Fixed first-year player draft major league contract demands
- Fixed arbitration-related contract issues
- Improved roster & trading AI
- Fixed several other bugs and cosmetic issues

You do not need to uninstall the game or to release the license. Simply install the new version on top of the old version.
More updates are on the way, including the release of new features. We're also going to include Curt Schilling's new Pitchers Dominance Factor in the game as an additional stat you can track. We're putting PDF in the game with his blessing.
