OOTP 18 Update Released!

We recently released our latest OOTP 18 update, version 18.5.57, which has many improvements, including updated MLB Opening Day roster sets, international league rosters and historical databases. In addition, it has widescreen options for the in-game field widget and other new features, as well as many fixes.

You can read all about it on our forum.

MLB Manager 2017 Adds Playable Korean League!

Our games have been well-received in South Korea, so we thought it was time to add Korea as a playable league to MLB Manager 2017 for iOS and Android too. The Korean game option features all 10 professional teams with accurate rosters, including prospects from the Korean minor league. Here's your chance to see if you can lead two-time defending champs Doosan to a third straight title!

Acing a Marketing Class Project With OOTP

LaGrange College baseball player and sports management major Stephen Coelho says OOTP is "the most in-depth and realistic baseball simulation ever created," so he didn't hesitate to propose using the game for a group project in his marketing class.

He and fellow students Josh Garland and James Poropatic learned plenty of lessons when they took over an expansion team in OOTP, including the difficulties inherent in trying to navigate the expansion draft. Read our latest blog post to find out more about their efforts.

Want to use OOTP in your class or after-school club, or know a teacher who would like to use it? We're happy to provide free copies of OOTP for use in K-12 and higher education settings. Please get in touch via the OOTP Developments contact page.

Thanks for reading. See you next month!
